This is a LOOOOONG page!

UPDATED 10/04/2008 with some new boys, new girls and some sales noted!

Sorry, but I wanted to have all my 'for sale' critters in one place for now, hopefully you'll be able to scroll all the way down and see everything we have from the registered Nigerian and Saanen goats to the misc. mixed-breed and unregistered purebreds, some babies, some bucks, some does in milk, a little of everything!

I've added some does to the list, notably some Sr. Nigerians and full-size does that just have to be moved so I can get my numbers to the magic 'safe number' that can be evacuated in case of fire.  I would love to keep some of these girls forever but I just can't see endangering them if I can't get everyone out in one load.  We got lucky in 2007 with some help from very generous friends that hustled up here with vans, trucks and trailers but I know next time we may not even have the two or three hours we had last year.  I know times are tight with hay prices and gasoline going up and I'm willing to make package discounts if there are a couple you'd like and I'm also open to payment arrangements on some of the girls.

All the boys, girls and other for sale!

Well, we've done rather well this year and have just a few babies left for sale, so hurry in and see our kids and make your plans for next year's babies!  The kids we have left are:

WETHERS:

Black and White wether, born 03/13/2008 by Desertwinds SN Sand Storm out of our own Tiny Colors Midnight Moon - this boy is super-sweet and very playful - everything is a game to him!  For hours of entertainment this is your boy.  He can also go as a companion to any of the girls we have available.    This boy is priced at $100, discount for youth, multiple purchased, etc.

black wether w/ one silvery tan moonspot right in the center of his back, born 03/30/2008 by Copper Penny Blue Frank out of Fiorito's Licorice, a very nice production doe with super-soft skin and a sweet, quiet personality.  This boy was originally purchased by a young woman as a companion to a doeling she got at the same time; unfortunately she's a spoiled only child and her parents are either overly-indulgent or just not very good parents as they did not insist she actually do any of the WORK of taking care of young critters so while he got tons of love and attention (and is very sweet just like his sire and dam) she did bring them back because she could not figure out how to keep them from eating the roses or make them poo just in ONE corner so her gardner could "deal with it" for her.  He has been back here for a couple months while I made sure he suffered no ill effects and am relieved to note that he seemed to have absolutely NO problems whatsoever with his little adventure and was not only in peak health but had obviously been handled lovingly the entire time.  He should make someone a very nice pet and can be packaged with the above buckling at a very good discount price.  He is also priced at $100 with the usual discounts available.

 BUCKS / BUCKLINGS:

Tiny Colors Take A Chance, born 04/08/2008 by Take Heart Blueberry Wine out of our favorite girl, Piddlin Acres PV Willa.  This is one I "should not" sell but he is definitely top-quality and as I don't show, I think it's unfair to him and to folks who do want to show and breed show babies for me to hide him out here in my yard.  This boy really has his sire's nice build and his dam's body length and with both his parents having nice udder genetics (Blue is out of one of Tina's favorite milking does, Anabelle) I expect this boy can do a lot to add to anyone's herd, especially in dairy character and the milk pail.  I have to go out and get some fantastic pictures of him now that he's home from his mother's show circuit for a few weeks so watch here and on the What's New page for that.  He's gold with bits of white and a very sweet face.  This boy is priced at $425 and as always I offer a youth discount as well as a reduced price if you purchase other goats from me at the same time or within the past two years.  This isn't a very good picture of him but he kept trying to climb into our laps for a snuggle.

Tiny Colors Marvel's Ironman, born 04/12/2008 by Take Heart Blueberry Wine out of our old-fashioned herd queen, Car-Lin Marvel.  Marvel has a very nice udder which has held up superbly over the years, not losing one bit of attachment and developing a capacity that rivals my mid-size goats.  She's a power built doe with a traditional look (means she carries herself like an old matron should - hehehe) and a very tight front-end assembly, especially for as very WIDE as she is.  Again, Blue has his mother's great genetics including that udder so I look for this gorgeous black, white and blue roan buckling to really add several good things to his new herd.  If I wasn't cutting back so severely this boy would definitely be staying and in fact may stay depending on who else sells first!  Again, he'll do just fine in the show ring although he hasn't the completely outgoing personality as his brother (above) and is more of a laid-back lover-boy temperament like his dad.  Then again, when I've taken Blue to shows he never so much as turns a hair, taking everything in stride and staying very calm so this maybe just the sweet buck for you.  He is generously priced at $425 so I don't have to choose between him and Chance (grin).  Again not a super picture but at least you get SOME idea with him walking alongside his buddy and half-brother Chance . . .

Tiny Colors SS Moonshadow, born 05/06/2007 by Desertwinds SN Sand Storm out of McConnell's Ruffles, a Caesar's Villa-bred doe that's long, power and a nice milker to boot.  I would have preferred larger teats on this gal and more femininity in her face but putting her on the extremly dairy and angular Sand Storm seems to have corrected that almost-coarse look.  Moonie has his dam's long body and deep heart girth combined with his sire's tight front end and nice brisket.  Because he's a Sand Storm son he's taking his sweet time growing up, being a slow grower at every turn just like all the 'men' in that line.  His added bonus is a nice color; he has black, brown, white, tan, some moonspots and some roaning.  Again, this is one I'd love to keep and in fact will be putting him into the breeding shed with two of my own does until he sells.  I just need to make sure I only keep the boys I can safely evacuate in case we have another bout with wildfires and so sadly this boy goes on the list.  He is ready to go and priced to move at $400.   he really is level, he just was more interested in Daisy over by the fence flagging for the boys - gotta love those bucks!

Vista's Heir Apparent (Saanen) - by Old English Emperor out of Vista's R2D2, this boy is TALL!  He's also wide and very angular, being a complete package right down to his adorable face with it's cute Bobby Darrin curly lock.  We've bred Harry to several of our full-size girls and he really produced some nice kids, although the one Saanen doe we put him with did not end up taking (she was stressed from the wildfire evacuation).  We love Harry and will keep him if we don't find the right home for him (and he can be wethered for pack goat if someone would prefer) but we now have his full sister's son by Old English Jack's Son and want to keep that new buck as well, so unless I can figure out how to keep hubby from noticing the buck pen has TWO full-sized white goats in it, I have to sell this handsome guy.  He's got some nice udder genetics on both sides (his sire's family can be seen at http://mannmaid.com/) with his mother being one of those 'gallons per day' milkers we love to have around.  Her teats are spectacular; just the right size and texture with huge orifices, which is obviously one of my 'must-have' features in an easy milker.  This boy is also priced to sell and has a good discount as I really have no idea what an unproven (in the ring) Saanen should sell for so please make a reasonable offer by email or telephone and we can go from there!   Harry and his buddy Moonie are trying to talk me into letting them visit the girls!

Vista's JS Star Fighter (pending) (Saanen) - by Old English Jack's Son out of Vista's Jar-Jar (who is a full sister to Heir Apparent, listed above) is a 2008 buckling I'd love to keep but almost all my Saanens are directly related to him either as his mother, his aunts or his grandmother.  If Harry (above) sells I'll keep this little guy to freshen my Alpines and Nubians in the fall as I really liked the kids I got from Harry and this would bring in more of those genetics plus those of Jack's Son.  Still, I do need to sell one or the other . . .  email me for details or to make an offer.  Jedi is still getting used to us and to being weaned but so far is still a very sweet goat.

Desertwinds Ace High (4th Gen / American MiniMancha) - by Desertwinds Snowboard out of Desertwinds Josie - this guy is every inch the gentleman and gets along well with any goats he's in with.  He's currently in with a few Minimancha does and doing his job quietly!

DOES:

I'm sold out on 2008 doelings, although to be fair to the ones I've retained, I could be convinced to JUST the right show home to let maybe ONE of them go (grin), so if you think you are that home, feel free to email me about the doelings.  I'm going to list a few does below that I could keep but in the interest of reducing herd size am reluctantly putting up for sale.  Once I reach my target number, the rest of the unsold does will come off the sale page but since I can't decide between this doe and that, I'm listing all the ones I 'could' sell and hope you wonderful buyers help me with the tough decisions.

Update 10/04/2008:  We've hit fire season full blast and while there have not been any fires so far, it's only a matter of time before we may have to face fires and evacuation and so I've had to be quite firm with myself and really put some great does on the Sales list.  I am going to try and list their good and not-so-good points so you know just what you're getting and hopefully can get the girls into new homes before we have to deal with a major fire event again.

Just Added:

Tiny Colors All American (aka Meri), born 03/16/2006, by Take Heart Harvest Moon out of McConnell's Lacy Blue.  This was another of our keeper does and I would like to keep her but I am keeping her 2008 daughter (one of Blueberry Wine's first daughters) and need to make tough choices.  Meri is a sweetie as all her sire's offspring are, and on the milkstand really surprised me, outproducing her own dam on her first freshening!  She kidded easily with twins, was an excellent mother and has some of the higher-butterfat milk in the herd, making her milk great for cheeses as well as drinking.  She's long in the body and has a nice spring of rib, could use more angulation in the rear and a longer neck but is a very pretty girl overall.  She's roaned almost all over so her buckskin coloration actually comes out red, white and blue making her very flashy in addition to those pretty blue eyes.  She is a people-oriented goat and would do well in either a small or large herd, preferring to be near but not at the top.  She's also an easy keeper, doesn't seem to need as much in terms of supplementation and is content to eat whatever is put before her, isn't a picky goat at all.

Tiny Colors Midnight Moon, born 02/19/2005, by Take Heart Harvest Moon out of TNJ Ranch Kitty's Lilly.  This solid black (not a single white hair anywhere on her) doeling was my son's choice out of the very first babies we had born here and at the time I was amazed he'd bypass all the very flashy, brightly-colored babies for this solid black power-looking doeling.  I've never been disappointed with his choice, though, as she turned out to be very lovely and long, very productive on the milk stand and an excellent mother.  She could use longer teats but they've lengthened each time and are now comfortable to milk, especially as she has very soft udder skin and large, easy orifices.  She's got a lot of dairy character and is nicely tight in the shoulders but I'd like to see more spring of rib, which strangely all of her offspring have had so maybe she passes along better than she shows?  If she stays she'll definitely be taken to a couple shows; as a jr. doeling she took first in her class the one time she was in the ring and if we'd had a clue about what we were doing (it was our first show as well) she might have done better.  All in all she's a good blend doe, great production doe, and will be bred to Tiny Colors Take A Chance (by Take Heart Blueberry Wine out of Piddlin' Acres PV Willa) this next week.

Tiny Colors SS Paparazzi, born 03/15/2007, by Desertwinds SN Sand Storm out of Cloverdale IH Moulin Rouge.  I really REALLY wanted to keep this girl forever but at this point have to admit that I can't keep them all.  She's a beautiful doe in my favorite color, deep red mahogany and black buckskin with a scant white snip on her poll to set off the very feminine face.  She does deserve to be in a show herd and really does like going to shows, just won't get the chance to with us.  If we sell enough of the other girls first I may take her back off the sale list but for now she fell below the line, which does break my heart but it is in her best interest to be where she can be safe and appreciated.  Her dam has absolutely the best attachments in the herd, being a daughter of Incredible Hunk (who is just loaded with good genes from his sire ARMCH Twin Creeks LS Luck Of The Draw) and of course from her dam Twin Creeks MB Cabaret, a daughter of Twin Creeks PD Megabucks!  This doe is being bred to Tiny Colors Marvel's Ironman, who is by Take Heart Blueberry Wine and out of our herd queen, Car-Lin Marvel, a gorgeous old gal with structure for days.

DC Miniatures Perfect Timing (aka 'PT'), born 11/01/2005, by DC Miniatures Cole Lateral out of DC Miniatures Tomorrow's Hope (linebreeding on Woodhaven Farms Lucious Cole).  This very pretty roaned tricolor doe with blue eyes came to my herd after I saw a snapshot of her as a baby and was able to see a view of her dam's udder.  She has that same capacious udder that's nice and high in the rear with good attachments and a nice fore-udder.  I'd like to see more, of course, but as a FF she impressed me enough to be in my 'staying here' list.  Still, I'm sad to say I have to cut the numbers even more and so she ends up for sale (for now) and someone could really be getting a nice doe here!  She's not the longest doe in the herd but has nice legs and feet, nice tight shoulders and a good overall build.  She could be longer in the body and a bit more feminine at times and certainly is one of the most CHATTY Nigerians I've ever met (grin) but she makes up for it in ease of milkability (large orifices and teats that point where they're supposed to!) and her loving nature as a snuggly goat that always wants to be loved on.  Nothing seems to bother her and I'm sure she'd make a nice show goat for someone but would also be just fine producing milk and babies as she does quite easily.  This doe can be bred to Copper Penny Blue Frank or to Tiny Colors SS Moonshadow before she leaves for an extra $.  Hopefully she'll get to stay but it's all a matter of numbers.

DC Miniatures NS Sasparilla, born 03/12/2006, by Little Tot's Estate Night Shade out of DC Miniatures Splashy Sassy.  This blue-eyed black-with-mahogany-trim doe is certainly very pretty and sweet and I had high hopes for her to add some pizazz and spring of rib to her babies but have yet to see her freshen; either she's shy or I kept missing her last year when she was in to be bred.  That breeding season was cut short by the wildfires we had so I can't blame the doe.  She's in now with a nice buck, Tiny Colors SS Moonshadow, and I hope she does pass along her tight shoulders and toes and her nice wide escutcheon and spring of rib.  She's a very feminine little girl and I can't wait to see her freshen but again she's one that is reluctantly on the Sale list simply as a matter of numbers.  I will keep her if some of the large-breed girls sell soon.

Cloverdale SS Stormalina, born 04/09/2004, by Twin Creeks BW Storm Surge +*S out of Rosasharn's TL Esterlina (who is by ARMCH Rosasharn's Tiger L +*S E out of ARMCH Rosasharn's Guadalupe Moteada).  This chamoisee doe is built just like her sire, Storm Surge, and definitely is a well-bred girl but unfortunately is going on the sales list again as a matter of numbers.  She's deep in the heart girth and nicely put together, although not the most feminine doe we have and does have a very nice udder which has increased nicely in capacity as she's had more kids.  She has, however, only ever gifted me with sons and I really would want to see a doeling out of her.  She's currently being bred to Tiny Colors SS Moonshadow to balance her power build with some of his refinement while hanging onto the width and teat size / placement she hopefully will pass to her offspring.  She is not the most friendly of goats having not been handled as a baby / young goat but when it is milking time she's all business, knowing her turn at the stand and getting right out to the milking yard, getting up and cooperating perfectly with whoever is milking her, then getting down and putting herself away nicely like the production doe she is.  I do not know what kind of show doe she'd make but have seen that her babies can be very friendly if handled often and nicely.  This is another one I'd keep if I could get the rest of my numbers down.

McConnell's Lacy Blue, born 04/09/2002, by Deliteful Bayo out of Caesar's Villa PN Charity ( a CBS Poncho daughter).  This doe is lovely, a rich gold with white and of course blue eyes.  She has an on-again, off-again bump at the base of one of her teats that I believe is a wart (so does the vet) and she has never had a problem with it but I do sell her kids as pet quality both for that and because she is rather (ahem!) "an easy keeper" and always looks like she is three days from giving birth to six large babies, which tends to make her look unbalanced, at least to my eye.  She is an easy kidder and her kids are always gorgeous, some with moonspots and blue eyes, all with a nice power build and her feminine face.  Her teats are a bit on the small side but her udder is butter soft and her daughter in my herd has a fabulous udder so when bred correctly she outproduces herself nicely.   She does, however, prefer a smaller herd as she's a middle-of-the-herd gal and so I'm hoping she goes to a home looking for a friendly brood doe that milks.  She (along with Ruffles) was my very first ever goat and I love her to bits, so if she stays, that's fine with me.  She's priced at $350 now, will increase to $400 once she's bred to Moonie or for the appropriately-reduced breeding fee can be bred to the buck of buyer's choice if paid for prior to August 15th when I plan on putting her into the breeding pen.  Again, all discounts for youth and multiple purchase will apply. Lacy is a very happy girl!

Fiorito's Licorice, born 04/24/2004, by Mabel's Meadow Tango out of Take Heart Saltwater Taffy.  This girl really IS a very easy-to-milk doe that fits nicely in our herd, is a blend of dairy and width, nothing extreme in any direction.  She's small but can and has safely given birth to and raised healthy quads so she really is an asset to the herd.  However, I did just sell her mother and sister, have her daughter, her grandmother and two aunts still in the herd so she must go.  She has a nicely-shaped udder with good attachments and a very nice MSL, good capacity but not the largest, no meat at all in that udder and milks out completely flat.  Black with a roaned broken white belt, she usually puts plenty of color on her kids although this year her quads were all black.  Very soft udder skin compensates for the slender but not-too-short teats, so for a small-handed milker she'd be perfect.  It's hard to get a good picture when all the girls want is snuggles

3rd and 4th generation mini-manchas from the Desertwinds herd of Donna and Norm Geiser; we are fortunate enough to have available for sale several does (some in milk) from Nevada, including a pair of yearling doelings ready to be bred, two does in milk, a six-month-old weanling, a pair of wethers and a nice 3rd generation buck.  For more info, contact me and I'll send pictures and details!  These are girls looking for a milking herd and hopefully to be show does as they are registered with TMGR.

On the Mini-Manchas we have left:  Desertwinds Heart To Heart, gorgeous black w/white F2 doe with a decent udder and perfect size and look, good body capacity.  This doe is currently bred to Ace (above) for Dec / Jan kids.  Desertwinds Stephanie Powers, pale gold and white daughter to the above doe (making her F3) and just as well-built with good body capacity, a bit smaller but that could be her age, and also bred to Ace for February 2009 kids.  There's one more, a little girl out of Claim Jumper that I just love and will try to keep here unless someone can talk me out of her; a black and white snuggle-bug with a great spring of rib and very tight shoulders and toes, a nice overall power doeling that will be bred for late February kids by Ace.

LARGE BREED DOES:

Vista's JarJar, born 05/09/2006, by Old English Emperor out of Vista's R2D2.  This nice girl is just that, a nice girl with a nice udder (needs larger orifices, though, but as a FF I'm inclined to give her another chance as her mother is a dream to milk) and good body shape and a nice, deep heart girth.  She's also got a long rump and good angulation, not as wide as her 2007 full sister but I think she's going to end up taller so that's a fair trade.  She kidded with buck/doe twins and both are here to see (for now - both are for sale as well and can go as a package with other goats).  I like this girl a lot but have her dam and sister as well as her brother and son (and daughter, for sale by the breeder who now wants to cut back on goats and raise enough $ buy her first car) and have no need to keep this doe as I have nothing to breed her with right now.

Midstokke's Wild Sadie Lady, born 2006, a nice registered Saanen (I'll update with her paperwork this evening but wanted to get her on here now) that has given us an adorable singleton and was very nice to milk.  This girl is small but her son (by a mini-mancha buck) was very large considering his half-sized sire so I have no doubt she'd produce large kids given the chance.  She's also a very sweet doe that isn't top or bottom in the herd and gets along with everyone.  I do think Sadie'd prefer a smaller herd, though, so she can be her normal laid-back self.  She is an easy breeder, easy keeper and very easy to milk having large, soft teats and those great orifices I really look for.  She'd be a keeper except that I think she likes smaller herds.

Vista's Royal Salute (aka 'Sallie'), born 05/06/2007 by Old English Emperor out of Vista's R2D2.  This is another nice R2 daughter that is up for sale, just as a matter of numbers and the fact that the only Saanen bucks I have here are this gal's full litter brother and her full sister's son.  Since I don't know enough about Saanen bloodlines (I have Saanens for their milk and gentle temperament but am focused on Nigerians as a breed) to start dabbling in linebreeding, it's best for this gorgeous big girl to find her own herd where she can get to shows and be productive.  If she is still here by the end of October I'll be sending her to be bred and then she won't be available for sale until she freshens in Spring 2009 but I'm HOPING she finds a new home so I don't have to worry if I need to evacuate.

Vista's (unnamed), born 05/2008 this stylish doeling is out of Vista's JarJar (see above) and by Old English Jack's Son, a very nice buck with fantastic daughters on the ground.  This girl belongs to the breeder and was to be a keeper for her but she's looking to reduce her goat herd to only Nigerians and also is trying to purchase her first car and would like this girl to be offered for sale - email for price and other details.

Tiny Colors Delilah (unregistered purebred Nubian) by Nerat Acres Noodles out of Nerat Acres Samantha.  This 2003 doe is a full-bodied Nubian that produces nice meat and milk babies as well as a lot of extra-creamy milk with slender, long, soft orifices.  Delilah has two things going for her; her milkability (production and ease) and the fact that she belongs to the kids and was their first goat all their own.  Her faults?  Well, she talks.  Rather, she moooooo's if you have a cow anywhere near that will MOOO back.  And she is insistent that she prefers a particular buck and in the past has insisted on flagging him and ONLY him even when she's in a pen with another buck to be bred.  Other than that, I have no real complaints about this very typical Nubial with her gorgeous black-and-tan coloring (with touches of white) and her very roman nose.  She'd be one that stays except that we do have to cut our numbers and in a business decision those without papers have to be lower on the list because the kids have a more limited market, although we've never had trouble selling her kids before.  I do also have her two daughters for sale, they are by our Saanen buck Harry and the only reason they're still here is because they snuck off and got missed on disbudding day and then the buyer that wanted them in the brush-clearing herd he was buying from me decided he didn't want girls, only wethers, so here they are, getting fat and happy alongside their mother.  Yes, Dash and Dot still have their little horns but they are good girls with them and I've never seen them be anything but careful around people and other goats.  The three of these girls can go as a trio for a deep discount.

UNREGISTERED GOATS:

We have available the following mixed-breed or purebred-but-not-registered goats, again so we can get our numbers down to what will fit in the crates, trucks and trailers in case of fire evacuation.  All of the does in milk have been milked and do well unless otherwise noted, all the males are or can be wethered and ALL are handled extensively by senior citizens, children and visiting school groups so they are all familiar with and work well with people.  Some of these goats have horns and a few need to be in homes where they can be out in fields for browsing / brush clearing.  There are also a couple that can go as meat producing does as they have huge, muscular babies every time.  Most of these goats have come to us as rescue goats or are the offspring of local goats that 'over-produced' and have been with us since babyhood.  They all are traffic-wise and have been allowed to wander the hills clearing brush as well as time in the goat pens being close with people.  We have all sizes from purebred Nigerian and pygmy through the large Nubian and the Boer Cross does.  In addition, we can breed any of the does that are old enough and have a purebred Alpine, a purebred and registered Saanen, several purebred and registered Nigerian and a pair of purebred registered mini-mancha bucks.  Please email us for more information on Symphony, Alice, Patsy, Chloe and the rest of the girls looking for new pet, milking and / or brush-clearing homes.  WATCH THIS SPACE FOR PHOTOS AND MORE DETAILS ON EXACTLY WHICH GOATS WILL BE OFFERED FOR SALE!  Price on these goats range from $100 to $350 depending on breed, whether or not they're in milk or bred, registration status, etc.

Dash and Dot, twin Snubian doelings that somehow got missed when we disbudded (they hid amongst the ordered-with-horns-for-brush-clearing wethers) and so now have the cutest little horns above those comical airplane ears.  These girls were born in March and should be rather good-sized, are quieter than their mother Delilah (purebred Nubian) and have her great milk with their Saanen Sire's good teat genetics.  Not that Delilah's small teats are a problem, they're actually pretty good now that she's a third-freshener but I would prefer larger orifices and a quieter goat (grin).  Since Harry's mother R2 has almost no voice that we've ever heard AND fabulous teats, we hope for great things out of these girls.  Priced individually at $175 each or $275 for the pair, they're ready to go now.   Here they are at just hours old.

Morgan is a polled jr. doe, born January of '08, her mother is a fabulous milk producing Boer / Nubian cross and the sire is Skedaddle (registered Nigerian) $200, comes with free breeding to mini-mancha or nigerian buck when she's old enough.

Gracie, unregistered purebred Alpine, possibly bred, has horns but is good with them - currently in milk $225, exposed to Nigerian buck

Patsy, daughter of above Gracie and George the Alpine buck, disbudded, in milk and will let other babies nurse so good for a brood doe and will adopt other babies if need be - $225

Tiffany - purebred unregistered (paperwork was lost by last owner who moved suddenly courtesy USMC) LaMancha, easy kidder, currently in milk, easy to milk and provides a LOT of milk.  Has a higher need for copper (every six months instead of yearly) and other than that is very healthy, has pretty babies, has been exposed to a very small mini-mancha buck so MAY be bred depending on how determined he was and whether or not she was in heat at the time.  Tiff is $250 in milk and up-to-date on vaccinations, copper and Bo-Se.

Desertwinds Heart to Heart and her daughter, 2nd and 3rd gen mini-manchas - email me for details as we've now weaned off the daughter (finally) and they've both gotten a lot nicer to be around (not as talkative!) and Heart IS still in milk, needs someone that isn't going to let her fidget around up there at first (she knows better and is great for us now).

I hope to have photos up soon of all these goats and all appropriate discounts (youth, multiple purchase, charitable organizations / camps, etc.) will be given generously!

All our goats are up to date on vaccinations, have been disbudded (unless otherwise noted) and we're just waiting for test results on this year's CL / CAE / Johnnes tests although we've never had a positive goat, ever!

We are also adding a meat goat herd; my youngest son has decided he wants to breed some meat breed girls for their creamy milk and to sell the kids to the butcher, who made him a fantastic deal on last year's meat wether.  To that end we've added three more Boer and Boer x Nubian doelings and will be breeding them (and our current Nubian x Boer) to a nice thick Boer buck later this Autumn so watch for meat kids next Spring out of Cinder, Cloud, Storm and Wind.
