Quick Update on the Sale pages

I'm trying to make sure I get this updated (grin) so I've lumped ALL my for-sale goats HERE for now, with photos to follow and then I'll move them to the appropriate pages.  For today, though, the breeding stock is going on the same page as the babies as I only have a couple babies left from this year's kid crop.  Thanks and congratulations to all my buyers and I look forward to a long relationship with y'all.

We usually breed for babies year 'round, although this year we took a break from September 15 - December 15th and have our first does due in late March, 2008.  Please check our Breeding Schedule and contact me early to reserve a kid, earlier if you'd like to suggest / request a breeding.  Our reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and we don't generally request a deposit until the kids are born; at that point a 20% deposit will hold your kid for you and payment in full is required prior to delivery / pick-up.

All our kids are dam-raised when possible but also introduced to a bottle "just in case".  All are handled several times a day and are exposed to horses, dogs, cats, chickens, turkey, guinea, peafowl and other livestock from birth.  Our babies are vaccinated against C/D&T (unless otherwise requested - we have NO problem not vaccinating per buyer's request) and are wormed before they leave here.  The babies are brought into the house and taken for car / truck rides both in the vehicle and also in dog crates so nothing will surprise or bother them.  Most if not all babies are also taught (or exposed) to walk on a lead rope and are all brushed, have hooves trimmed and are bathed (weather permitting) as part of educating them for their new homes.

We tattoo goats upon request but will also microchip (at buyer's expense).  We disbud our goats as early as possible to reduce / eliminate the possibility for scurs and we elastroband our wethers at the same time, if possible.  We almost NEVER sell bucks but if we do have a spectacular specimen we often wait until he's at least 4 weeks old to make that determination and try to get the opinion of several more experienced breeders before we commit to leaving him intact.  If you have any questions, feel free to call me or drop me an email.

In addition to our Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats (AGS / ADGA / NDGA) we also have a few full-size goats, including two Alpines (ADGA), two Nubians (1 ADGA and 1 grade) a Mini-Mancha and four Saanens (ADGA and one AGS) that are currently being bred for Spring '08 kids, most of the kids will be full-size or mid-size goats perfect for pets, family milkers and brush-clearing.  If you want a brush-clearing baby be sure to let us know if you want us to leave the horns on as we disbud at a very young age!  We have also added a new Saanen bucking out of our lovely large milk doe and will be breeding some of our other full-sized does to him for milking offspring.
